animated series about a washed up celebrity horse. sounds absurd until you realize it is one of the most accurate depictions of depression on television. it starts like a hollywood satire with animal puns and background jokes. then suddenly you are watching an episode about generational trauma and self sabotage that hits a little too close. it never lets its main character off the hook. uncomfortable, honest, and somehow still funny.
